THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS.

Two antonyms of  each other, happiness and sadness. These two emotions influence the everyday life of a person. “Oh, my friend got married!” is happy and “Oh! My friend got married!” is sad. We experience both of these emotions in life but what matters is, for how long. To be honest it’s a matter of choice to be happy…

Case I : A person earns RS 100,000,000,000 per year , has a bungalow, his own sports club and a Bugatti Royale but is unhappy because of the responsibilities he has to take, his daughter never graduated high school, his son is gay and got divorced thrice. On the contrary, a middle class person ears RS 1,000,000 per month, has 3 BHK flat, pays for his gym every month and has an Audi is happy because he is satisfied with what he has. Satisfaction is important for being happy.

Case II : A person whose father is the greatest actor of all time, has a well-known last name, married Miss Universe is unhappy because after 15 years in the film industry never got the break he wanted. On the contrary, an orphan who lost his parents at the age of 10 , lives in church, has 3 best friends, who love each other and help each other grow in life is happy because he has accepted the fact and moved on to prove himself. Accepting the fact and moving on is important for being happy.

Case III : A person who is healthy, has a loving wife, 2 kids who love him is unhappy because he thinks his fellow friend has a better life than him, a better body, a more beautiful wife and the kids are more intelligent than his. On the contrary, a person who has got over the news that he is suffering from cancer and going to die, leaves the women he loves because he didn’t want to hurt her is happy because he accepted what he is. Accepting what you are is important for being happy.

Most people suffer from merely existing versus really living, embrace new experiences. Go beyond your comfort zone and be who you are. Be free from fear and other emotions that are sabotaging you. Let go the past and the bad memories, sadness only breeds more sadness.

There are over 6 billion people on this earth. There are infinite relationships to be had. Everyone has something to give. Everyone offers something worth learning. There is infinite love to give and to offer. You can choose to be lonely but you are never alone.

If you can read this you are fortunate. If you can walk, talk, see, smell, taste or feel or all this things you are fortunate.

Remember happiness is a state not a circumstance. Happiness is a state of being, not merely a moment of pleasure or joy. By committing to happiness you accept there will be times of challenge and suffering but by staying true to who you are, you will not just survive but thrive. Happiness is not just the bird floating serenely on the water and happiness is not eliminated by the rocks that temporarily disturb the water, happiness is the water itself, always being exactly what it is.

“You have to leave the city of your comfort and go in the wilderness of your intuition. What you will discover will be wonderfull, what you will discover is yourself.”

“Be such a man and live such a life, that if every man was such as you and every life, a life like yours, this earth would be god’s paradise.”
SO, YOU DECIDE...
